The Porlex Tall hand grinder has double the capacity of the Porlex Mini, so you can grind enough for you and your others. It has an all stainless steel housing making it easy to clean and reportedly less static compared to plastic models. The Porlex grinder settings can easily be adjusted to cover all coffee from Espresso to French Press grind settings thanks to an easily accessible locking nut.

What sets the Porlex hand coffee grinder apart from other hand grinders is the speed and ease of grind. This is down to a couple of features such as a long steel handle that connects solidly to the grinder and the ability to hold the grinder steadily in one hand while turning the handle with the other. And the ceramic burr which wont rust, and being ceramic are easy to clean and stay sharper. It’s their unique ceramic manufacturing technology produces the most precise ceramic burrs on the market. The burrs are often copied, yet they still lead the way in design and quality. The factory also do not provide burrs to be used in other grinders and stamp their sets with the Porlex mark of authenticity.

Whats new?

The inside body material has changed. – It is now made from a much higher quality (colour is dark brown) material. This makes for much better precision of the rotating shaft while also improving durability.

Outter and inner burrs redesigned

Adjusting nut has been completely redesigned.

• Granularity can be adjusted in small increments – It can be adjusted in 37 micron units (*) on an average scale.
• Before Renewal 1 scale average of 80 microns
• 16 click per rotation adjustment screw – 8 clicks per rotation of the adjusting screw before renewal
